Hydrocollator HotPac
Hydrocollator HotPac with Terry Cover - features foam filled Terry Cover and HotPac
In 1947 Chattanooga introduced the Hydrocollator HotPac, an innovative method of moist heat therapy and one of the first topical thermal agents in rehabilitation medicine. Superficial heating via Hydrocollator Hot Pac can elevate skin and tissue temperature ¼” below the surface. With adequate blood supply, temperatures can increase within six to eight minutes of exposure; after 20 to 30 minutes of exposure, muscle temperature at depths of ½” to ¾” will reach peak levels.
Moist Heat HotPacs come in seven different sizes to fit various body contours and provide up to 30 minutes of deep, soothing moist heat.
